Tips for teenage son in Rome

QUESTION: Do you have suggestions that would interest my 17 year-old teenage son in and around Rome in Italy. - Joy Lyner

ANSWER: I am sure he will be interested in the major tourist attractions like the Vatican, the Coliseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. However, to find out where young travellers are going, he could hang out on the Campo de' Fiori, a piazza ringed by cafes and bars. Here he should be able to meet up with like-minded tourists. Some of the things that may interest him include Rome's only amusement park, LunEUR, at the Via delle Tre Fontane and the Capuchin crypt, a gory exhibition of sculptures made from the bones of 4,000 friars buried at the Santa Maria della Concezione Church (Via Veneto 27). To meet Roman teenagers, he can hang out on Rome's own Rodeo Drive, Via dei Condotti, and on the Spanish Steps.
