A: As you are no doubt aware by now, the Bahrain Grand Prix has been postponed (and probably cancelled) due to the unrest currently taking place there. If you are still going to visit the country, there will be plenty of accommodation choices as cancellations flood in Try www.asiarooms.com and www.expedia.com, which already have a wide range of accommodation available of those dates, You should not have too much of a problem finding hotel rooms in Dubai and Doha. You could try budget hotels like Holiday Inn Express or Ibis in Dubai for R450-R550 per room. In Doha you can try the La Villa Hotel, which is located at Gold Souk Street and close to the waterside. A double room with breakfast is available for around R500 per night on www.booking.com. I am sure you will be able to find something suitable using one of the discount websites.(20/2/11)
