A: You certainly do not have to wait until January to get your hands on a bargain in London as the sales begin just after Christmas these days. Most of the big department stores will be lauching their "January" sales on Boxing Day (Monday December 26, 2011) or the next day. Harvey Nichols opens at 10am on Boxing Day, while Selfridges opens at 11am on the same day. Harrods will be launching its January sale with a celebrity ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9am on Tuesday, 27, 2911. If you take a stroll down Oxford Street on Boxing Day, you certainly will not have a shortage of places to shop! (18/12/11)
