Harry Potter tour

QUESTION: We are to visit relatives in London and my son is a Harry Potter fan. Is there a tour or museum I can take him to? - Linda Brown

ANSWER: Tours of locations used in the Harry Potter films are offered by a number of companies, including British Tours, Lynott Tours and Harry Potter Fan Trips (www.hpfantrips.com). You can take a three-hour tour of the film locations in London, which include Kings Cross station, London Zoo, Leadenhall Market and Blackriars Bridge. You can also take a five-hour tour to Oxford, where the famous university was used as a location for many of the Hogwart school scenes. If you have 10 hours to spare, you can tour locations in Oxford and Gloucester, where the Norman Cathedral was used in a number of scenes. An additional hour takes you to Lacock Abbey, where some of the classroom scenes were filmed. The tours can be private or as part of a group.
