Q: We would like to attend some of the 2011 World Cup Rugby Pool Games in New Zealand next year. How can we buy tickets? Can you also recommend any reasonably priced hotels or self catering units during our stay? - Norma Brown
A: The second phase of ticketing for the 2011 Rugby World Cup starts on September 10, so you need to register on the www.rugbyworldcup.com website as soon as possible. During this phase individual tickets will be on sale for all matches except the semi-finals and the final. Hotel accommodation during the world cup is already at a premium, but if you are staying for an extended period you may be able to find bed and breakfast or self-catering accommodation. The www.homeforhire.com has a special section for houses available for rental during the World Cup. You can also check out the www.bnb.co.nz website, as well as the www.travelwise.co.nz site.
