Single Woman in London

Q: I will be staying in London for 4 days at the end of April, and will be travelling alone. As a single female, my biggest concern is safety. Are there any hotels/ B&Bs you can recommend that cater to this kind of requirement? I think I may have read once about some places that have 'women only' floors or are 'women-only' hotels?
