A: The State Rooms at Buckingham Palace will be open from 1 August - 25 September 2011, when the Queen will be in Scotland. The price of a ticket to the State Rooms. including an audio guide, is £17.50 for adults, £16.00 for over-60's and students and £10.00 for those aged under 17. Under 5's are admitted for free. A family pass for two adults and three children is £46.00. You can also buy "A Royal Day Out" ticket for £31.00 (adults), which gives you admission to three sites: The State Rooms, the Royal Mews and The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
