A: There are plenty of guesthouses for you to choose from. I recommend you try the www.travellerspoint.com website, which lists a number of guesthouses in Goa and three options in Kerala. Other sites worth trying are www.travelpod.com and www.thebackpacker.net. You need to realise that the area referred to as Goa covers a large stretch of coast and that resorts range from bustling little towns to quiet, remote outposts. If you want to be in the tourist hub, look for guesthouses in Calangute. For accommodation in Kerala, you can also check for guesthouses listed under Alleppey town. (31/10/10)
