A: This is not as big an issue as you might imagine as the distances involved are relatively short. Livingstone Airport is only five kilometres from the town of Livingstone and only 15 kilometres from the Victoria Falls, so you should not be travelling too far if your hotel is close to the Falls on the Zimbabwe side. The easiest way to organise a transfer would be to ask your hotel to organise it for you. They would also be able to assist you with border crossing formalities. An alternative would be to contact one of the big travel agencies operating in Victoria Falls. South African-based Africa Travel (telephone +27 31 762 2424) offers a variety of tours and transfers in Zimbabwe and Zambia. You could also try one of the taxi companies operating in Victoria Falls such as City Cabs (telephone +263 912 884 916). Alternatively, you can take one of the taxis available at Livingstone Airport to the border post and then another taxi on the Zimbabwe side. The cheapest option would probably be to get a taxi to Livingstone town and then a bus to Zimbabwe Falls. (16 May 2010)
