ANSWER: While it can be fun to be surrounded by friendly compatriots for "apr่s ski", it can be just as rewarding meeting travellers from other countries and getting to know their cultures and traditions. Remember, there is no guarantee that you will automatically get on with your fellow countrymen! I don't think you need to worry unduly about being the only South Africans in a resort, as there are likely to be a few compatriots on most packages you book from this country.
