ANSWER: One can get discounted fares by booking very early or very late, but it is risky leaving it until the last minute as fares only drop if bookings are low. I would recommend checking with a good travel agent what is available right now. Then have a look at what is being offered on airline websites. If only regular fares are available, you may as well wait a few months. However, if you find a fair price, I would recommend booking now. Don't hold out for a big price reduction which may never come.
